It is the objective of Tiddlywinks Private Day Nursery to
provide the highest standards of care and education for all
the children in our care.
We aim to provide a friendly, comfortable and safe environment
which the children will find stimulating and challenging,
and where enjoyment and fun are linked with discovery and
learning. Staff are sensitive and responsive to the individual
needs of each child.
To meet the above needs we are committed to:

and improve each child’s
skills and abilities.

their appropriate needs.
- ensuring that our service is in accordance with the latest
Standards for Care.

- ensuring that our staff are selected, trained and supervised
to meet the needs of the children in their care.

STAFFING
Our staff have been selected to provide the highest
standards of care and education for your child, and we
work as
a team. All staff are subject to Criminal Records Bureau
clearance through OFSTED and have a firm commitment
to on-going training:
At Tiddlywinks our
standards are very high, we aim for all off our staff to have experience
of working with children.
In order to achieve this at least 90% of our staff are
fully
qualified nursery nurses (NNEB, BTEC, NVQ3). All our
Staff will ensure that they know all the children in their
area,
also each child will be assigned a ‘Key Person’ with
whom both child and parent / guardian can build up a special
relationship.

OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Our
Registration and management practices are supported by a comprehensive set of
Polices and Proceedures which assure our compliance to the
latest Care Standards. These are always readily available
for inspection by parents / Guardians.
NURSERY GRANT
Funding for three and four year old children.

As part of the early years development partnership
Tiddlywinks Private Day Nursery is eligible to claim the
nursery grant. This enables eligible children to receive
a number of sessions per week within an environment that
provides education and assesment which follows the foundation
stage of the national curriculum.
The grant is paid direct to Tiddlywinks Private
Day Nursery and is deducted from the accounts of eligible
children.

TIMES OF OPENING
Tiddlywinks Private Day Nursery is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm
Monday to Friday
Morning sessions: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Afternoon sessions: 1:00pm - 6:30pm
SESSIONS
Nursery places are offered on a full and part time basis. |
